Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Angada AI ("Angada AI", "we", "us"), a service that delivers GitHub pull-request notifications and reports into your team's messaging tools. By using Angada AI you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Angada AI is operated by Kaustav Chakraborty as an individual. Contact: hello@angada.ai.

1. The service

Angada AI connects to your GitHub and messaging workspaces to post and update pull-request notifications and scheduled reports. Features may change as the service evolves. The service is currently offered in an early/pre-release stage.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 and authorised to connect the workspaces you link. You are responsible for activity under your account and for maintaining the security of your linked integrations. You must have permission from your organisation to install and configure Angada AI.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service unlawfully or to infringe others' rights;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service;
• abuse free usage (for example, creating multiple accounts to evade limits); or
• use the service to transmit malware or unlawful content.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Third-party services

Angada AI depends on third-party platforms such as GitHub and your messaging provider. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability or actions. Connecting them authorises Angada AI to access the data described in our Privacy Policy.

Where you use the service to process personal data of your team members, our respective data-protection roles and obligations are set out in our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Fees and payment

Some features may be offered as paid plans. Where they are, the applicable fees, billing cycle, and any plan limits will be presented to you before purchase. Unless required by law or stated otherwise at purchase, fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable. You are responsible for keeping your payment details accurate and current.

6. Availability and warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Angada AI and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Indemnity. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Angada AI and its operator from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms or applicable law, or your connecting a workspace you were not authorised to connect.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with law. On termination, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we make a material change, we will give you at least 14 days' notice before it takes effect, update the "Last updated" date and the version shown above, and, where appropriate, notify you (for example by email or an in-product notice).

You have the right to close your account before the effective date, in which case the changed Terms will not apply to you. If you continue as a user on or after the effective date, you will be asked to affirmatively accept the updated Terms the next time you use Angada AI — for example by acknowledging them at sign-in. You are not treated as having accepted merely by remaining a user: we will ask for your acceptance, and you may instead close your account at any time as described in Section 8.

Price increases on an active paid subscription are excluded from this 14-day mechanism. They follow the notice and billing rules of our Merchant of Record, Paddle, as presented to you at the time of the change.

Changes that are not material — for example clarifications or corrections that do not affect your rights — take effect when the "Last updated" date is updated and do not require fresh acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
